Summary: Compatible toner catridges no comparison to original - learned hard way!
Comment: I have tried TWO HP laserjet compatible toner cartridges for my HP Laserjet 1018 and both were substandard and had to be returned for a refund to different companies. One froze my printer as soon as I put it in. The other printed unevenly. I now will only purchase ORIGINAL HP toner cartridges for my machine.

Comment: The cartridge I received was not made by HP nor did it have an HP stock number or a recognizable brand. Having been almost consistently disappointed with aftermarket inkjet cartridges for my HP printer I was suspicious, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this laserjet toner cartridge works just as well (so far) as the OEM cartridge it replaced. Whether it will last longer (as advertised) I have no idea. But it was significantly cheaper.

Comment: Cartridge works just fine. I prefer to stay with HP as I print books on an HP printer and want to use what the manufacture designed for it.

Comment: This is the second cartridge I have had to get for this printer I have gotten them both on amazon. It is a lot less than they are in the store and it wasnt a scam it was a new printer cartridge. It came on time and everything.

Comment: Since using this BRAND NEW HP cartridge, my printer no longer works correctly. Pages come out crumpled at the top. HP refuses to stand behind it, stating the printer is no longer under warranty. Amazon should not be blamed. They sold me a factory sealed new cartridge.
I must now have the printer serviced at my expense due to arrogance and poor workmanship at HP.
